Hi, I'm Bev Hicks aka Mimi to my granddaughter, family and friends. The COVID-19 changed the direction of my life as well as that of many of you I'm sure. 

I'm a natural in the Retail Industry. I had plans to reopen my gift shop but those plans have been turned upside down. Thus, I'm embracing the online world! With the encouragement and help from my very talented daughter Sierra, I am bringing you The Black Earth, Gifts Extraordinaire once again!
